Visit of CYTA and British Bases to Cyprus Millers

On Tuesday, June 10th, we had the great pleasure and honour of welcoming senior executives from CYTA, representatives of the British Bases as well as distinguished stakeholders and entrepreneurs from the Famagusta District to our facilities.


From CYTA, we were honoured by the presence of Mr Andreas Neocleous, Chief Executive Officer of CYTA, Mr George Metzakis, Chief Commercial Officer , Ms Niki Ioannou, Director of CYTA Business, Ms Maria Dionysiou, Regional Key Account Manager (Larnaca & Famagusta) and Mr Prokopis Evangelou, Sales Consultant. From the British Bases, we had the pleasure of hosting Ms Maria Kyriakidou, Temp. Area Administration Officer Dhekelia and Ms Anastasia Elia, Activities Control Officer. Also participating in the visit, were Mr Paris Anastasiou, Director of the Business Development Department of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB), Mr Savvas Koshis, CEO of Cyprus Millers and member of the OEB Executive Committee, as well as Mr George Koshis, Director of Planning and Production at Cyprus Millers and Board Member of the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA).

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen communication and collaboration between CYTA, the British Bases, and the business community of the Famagusta region, with a shared goal of addressing modern challenges through synergy and mutual support.


The visit included a guided tour of Cyprus Millers’ facilities, where guests were presented with the daily processes and operational excellence of the company. The tour continued at the Hadjigiorkis Flourmill Museum, a multipurpose cultural venue that connects the past and present of the Cypriot milling industry, highlighting its rich historical identity.


The meeting concluded with a constructive working lunch, held in an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual respect. Also in attendance were Mr. Demetris Martis, President of the Frenaros Industrial Area and EBEA Board Member, as well as Mr. Panikkos Orfanides, President of the Deryneia Industrial Area and also an EBEA Board Member.
