Visit of the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry at Cyprus Millers

On Friday, July 11, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Honourable Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Mr. George Papanastasiou, to our facilities as part of his tour of the Famagusta District.

The Minister visited the premises of Cyprus Millers by Hadjigiorkis in Frenaros, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry and representatives of the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).

During the visit, a guided tour was held through the company’s operational areas, showcasing the production processes, food safety standards, and quality assurance protocols implemented daily.

The tour continued to the Hadjigiorkis Flourmill Museum, a cultural venue that connects the past with the present of the Cypriot milling industry and highlights its deep historical identity.

The Minister showed genuine interest and engagement with the topics discussed, emphasizing the importance of dialogue with the private sector in shaping policies that support the Cypriot industry.

Cyprus Millers by Hadjigiorkis extends its sincere thanks to the Minister and his delegation, as well as to the FCCI for their initiative and ongoing contribution to strengthening communication between the state and the business community.
